This implies collecting data from all kinds of mobile devices (IoT sensors, smartphones, embedded devices) and aggregating and transmitting them to a backend, through a smart adaptation of the communication channels employed and the way they are utilized.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The deadline for the project call is 1 October 2018, thus potential partners are requested to send a letter of intent to the University Politehnica of Bucharest at <\/em><em><a href=\"mailto:ciprian.dobre@cs.pub.ro\">ciprian.dobre@cs.pub.ro<\/a><\/em><em> before 27 September 2018. The letter must contain a motivation of the interest in the project, experience in similar projects (that support the company\u2019s competencies in the proposal topic) and the proof of the ability to implement an environmental monitoring pilot application.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>For additional information, please send an e-mail to <\/em><em><a href=\"mailto:ciprian.dobre@cs.pub.ro\">ciprian.dobre@cs.pub.ro<\/a><\/em><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Update:<\/p>\n<p><em>Based on the unique letters of intent received by the University Politehnica of Bucharest from the companies S.C. BEIA CONSULT INTERNA\u021aIONAL S.R.L. (in Romania) and Celerway Communication AS (in Norvegia) before 27 September 2018, we thus decide selecting the above-mentioned companies to participate as partners in the project that will be proposed in the \u201cEEA Grants \u2013 Collaborative Research Projects\u201d call in 2018.
